FAQs

What Makes Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, and Poodles So Special?

Labradoodles are extremely friendly and outgoing. Labradoodles’ characteristics mimic small children—playful, busy, eager to please, and curious about the world around them. They are easygoing and keen to be friends with everyone. Intelligent, friendly, and curious, Labradoodles are adaptable, trainable, and energetic.

Goldendoodles, known as the designer dog, are outgoing, friendly, and intelligent. They love people and get along great with other pets. This breed tends to be patient and gentle with young children—making them fantastic for families. They are far too friendly to make good guard dogs or watchdogs and would more likely try to befriend a stranger than warn them off. Hyper by nature, Goldendoodles usually calm down by the age of three.

Poodles are good family dogs—fun, energetic, smart, and easy to train. They do best with plenty of exercises for both mind and body and prefer to be with people. They are not good kennel dogs. Socialization should begin early and include other people, pets, and a grooming routine.

All three breeds provide hypoallergenic protection and enormous amounts of love. LabradoodleDay puppies are genetically tested through Embark or Paw Print, nourished with minerals from our NuVet Plus nurturing program, and registered with AKC or ICA.

Tell Us About Your Relationship with God and Why Integrating Him into Everything You Do Is So Important

My relationship with my “ABBA” father is everything to me. I gave my life to Christ when I was 14 years old. Knowing I needed a savior, I asked Him to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. Since that day, He has been by my side, guiding me. I love God’s word, and it’s alive and powerful, sharper than any double-edged sword. It says Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. I believe it’s important to trust in Him to guide me daily. He loves me very much and is working everything out for my good. God gave me the desire to start LabradoodleDay. He laid out the plan, and He is my partner.

How Did You Get Started?

In 2016, my family and I purchased JoJo, our Labradoodle. Customers visiting our store in Old Town Spring fell in love with JoJo daily. People overwhelmingly asked me where they could find themselves a “JoJo.” And this is where I could see God opening the door for me to extend the blessing of Labradoodles in others’ lives. Hence, LabradoodleDay was born.

What Makes Your Litters So Different?

All of the Labradoodles I breed are hypoallergenic and non-shedding. They are second- and third-generation F1b and F1bb. The parents have all been genetically tested.

What Is the Difference Between an F1 and an F1b or F1bb? How Do Your Puppies Impact Those with Allergies?

F1 Labradoodles, in theory, have a greater chance to shed than an F1b because there’s a chance an F1 (first generation) takes more after their Labrador parent’s shedding habits. F1bs are one generation removed, which means they should shed less as they are more “Poodle” at that point. My dogs are F1b and F1bb and have enough Poodle in them, 75% plus, and are hypoallergenic; therefore, they should not affect people with dog allergies.

What Is Your Inspiration for Continuing with Your Vision?

Being a part of the loving adoption that brings puppies into their forever homes brings me immense joy. It means so much being a part of each family’s story. These families are a part of my story of love and joy. We are all blessed in this union.

What Message Do You Have for Forever Families?

Thank you for welcoming me as a part of your journey with your most precious family member. It was an absolute joy and privilege to help transition your Forever Best Friend.

What Can We Look Forward to in 2023?

God has given me the vision to create a program for individuals with special needs and an organization that caters to those from disadvantaged backgrounds. I am in prayer as to the method and delivery of the program. Stay tuned for updates.
